This is a fast track construction project which commenced in Autumn 2006 and is due to be completed by June 2007. ÖkoHaus were selected as main contractors for their sustainable offsite building methods and for the speed and quality of construction.

This dramatic 1800m2  four storey building forms comprises of a steel superstructure with off site constructed timber wall panels including 240mm rock wood insulation. The ceiling contains exposed-engineered glulam beams

The windows , which are  argon filled with u valu rating of 1.1 are in European Larch , and the exterior features ventilated external rain screen with resin bonded timber cladding, and soffet in joinery grade engineered timber panels

Other striking features include curtain wall glazing and curved glulam beams and glass feature 

This green building is naturally ventilated and the heating stystem comprises
floor channel heaters, a small solar and wind turbine system and combined heat power plant
