The OkoHaus Process - Step by Step

The ÖkoHaus construction process from erection of the superstructure on site to turnkey finish takes approximately 12-14 weeks

The entire process from signing of contracts, finalising production drawings agreeing a detailed specification for your home, factory production through to completion of the fully finished home can be achieved within six months

  • Flowing final agreement on your house plans and signing of contracts , foundations are laid either by your own contactor or by ÖkoHaus to agreed standards and are pre inspected
  • full production drawings are created by ÖkoHaus before assembly in factory commences taking approximately 1 week
  • delivery of wall and floor sections to Site in Weather proofed transport

Typical Assembly Process for a 150m2 house

Day 1-5
assembly of closed panel timber frame superstructure commences and erected to fully weather proofed building

Day 5-7
Roof covering, fascia and scoffed installed

Week 2
External finishes complete i.e. render stone, timber cladding

Week 2-10
Internal finishes first and second fix mechanical electrical installations

Week 11
Quality control for professional finish undertaken

Week 12-14
Your ÖkoHaus home ready for occupation
